Skagit County Adopts Revised Marijuana Regulations

Yesterday, Skagit County adopted Revised Interim Regulations Regarding Recreational Marijuana Facilities in Specified Zones. The revised regulations can be found here.

The revised regulations limit recreational marijuana facilities to existing opaque buildings in the Ag zone. Production and processing of marijuana can be conducted in greenhouses in the Ag zone, but only if the structures are preexisting and a special use permit is obtained.

Marijuana facilities continue to be prohibited in the Rural Intermediate, Rural Reserve, Bayview Ridge Residential and Hamilton Residential zones.
